Ik weham sa thaa dil main shayed kabhi milo tum
kuch dair ruk key poochoon beetay dinon ka mousam
Awaaz main ho larzish, ankhon main ik tajassus
Maazi ka koi lamhaa shayed atak gyaa ho
Sab bhool kar bhi shayad kuch yaad aa gaya ho

Phir mai tumhain bataon apni khushi ki baatain
Har dukh chupa k dil mai aasudgi ki baatain
WO chand choudhween ka taroon bhari si raatain
Dilkash haseen shamainm, maasom wardatain
WO piyar ka tasawor wo bandagi ki baatain
WO roz roz marna aur zindagi ki baatain

Tum dukh sai muskurao, dheeray sai pass aao
SAR ko jhuka k apnay chup chap lot jao
Phir mai bhi muskura'oon, man kaa diyaa jalaon
Dohraaoon apnay dil mai jo thi nahin haqeeqat
Aik khawab zindagi ka haan umar bhar jo daikha
kabhi ho saka na pora younhi reh gaya adhora
