Sell yourself at an interview What you need to know When you get an interview you need to make sure that you are well prepared as this will help you to be more confident and to stay calm when you're under pressure. By being prepared and by practicing, you will make sure that you say all the right things and it will stop you from making mistakes or forgetting things. What you can do Familiarise yourself with the information in your CV and application form. Try to think of any question that the interviewer might ask you. Find out the time, date and location of the interview well in advance of your interview. Have a think about how you are going to travel to the interview and if you are disabled, check the physical access to the premises. Try to find out what the interview is going to be like - will there be a panel and will you be expected to do any tests? It's always good to try and find out some background information about the company you are applying to. Make sure that you indicate any additional support thet you might require in the interview - for example a communicator for deaf people.
