    Wo jazbon ki tijarat thi ye dil kuch aur smjha tha
    Usay hansne ki adat thi ye dil kuch aur smjha tha

    Mujhay uss ne kaha aao nai duniya basaty hain
    Usay soojhi sharart thi ye dil kuch aur smjha tha

    Hamesha uss ki ankhon main dhanak se rang hoty the
    Uss ki aam halat thi ye dil kuch aur smjha tha.

    wo mery pas betha dair tak ghazlain meri sunta tha
    Use khud se mohabat thi ye dil kuch aur smjha tha.
