Netflix's latest show called "Messiah" has shocked many of the users of the streaming service as the trailer shows a CIA officer Eva Geller, who investigates a man named Al Massih ad-Dajjal (Mendhi Dehbi) after he gains worldwide notoriety for his ability to perform impossible miracles.
Dajjal has an extensively detailed account told to the Muslim Ummah by the beloved Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H). Basically, he will be a doppelganger of Prophet Jesus (P.B.U.H) and pose to be the real one, leading people to their destruction. Dubbed as the anti-christ, Dajjal will be one-eyed with the word "Kafir" written across his head will be able to perform various miracles amongst which is the power to bring back the dead to life.
With the rise of the Anti-Hero narrative in today's entertainment, this take on the portrayal of Dajjal is yet to be unveiled. But it has surely sent the viewers into a disarray of how to react to the trailer and has Dajjal trending worldwide on Twitter.
A group of people has announced their boycott of the series but many still are anticipating the Mission: Impossible - Fallout's Michelle Monaghan starred, releasing on 1st January 2020. The role of Al-Masih will be played by Mehdi Dehbi.
