• In an attempt to disperse the protesters who have blocked the main Faizabad Interchange, law enforcement personnel resorted to tear gas shelling.
• Islamabad administration had warned protesters to disperse and call off their protest by midnight on Friday night. However, protesters hailing from religious parties had refused to heed the warnings from the government and had continued their protest.
