Somebody tell me the definition and meaning of Urdu word Gardab.
What does Gardab means in Urdu or English?

There's a novel entitled Gardab by Asma Qadri in Jasoosi digest and I never understand what does it means thanks for this section I feel comfortable asking now

Gardab (گرداب‎) meaning in Urdu: Bhanwar, Chakkar.
Gardab meaning In English: Whirlpool, Maelstrom, Awhirl.
