Teaching your child general knowledge of the world can become a bit of a grudging job for you but is also a great part of home education. But, have you considered what it is like for your child. His or her attention span is probably 20% of yours, so to sit down and listen to a list of facts or information is practically unbearable them.

Still, it is important that a child learn general knowledge about the world, so that they are more on the same page with the rest of society and able to function within that society with excellence.
So, how do you reconcile the two needs? Well, a great way to do this is through trivia. Trivia is in the form of a game, so it is more likely to grab the attention of your child. Also, trivia can be fun for you as well, a test of wits that creates a bond between you and your child who you maybe homeschool.

If you’re interested in learning general knowledge for kids that can be used as trivia, then you’re reading the reading article.

Learning for children should not be restricted to the classroom. Many parents want to teach their kids, but just don’t know how to keep their attention long enough. I hope that these facts that I have given you to use in the form of trivia will help you to spend time with your child teaching them about general knowledge of the world.
