Maulana Naeem Siddiqui (1916 - 25 September 2002) was a Pakistani Islamic scholar, writer and politician. He was among the founder-members of the Jamaat-e-Islami and a close associate of Maulana Abul Ala Maududi. However, due to irreconcilable differences with its leadership, he quit Jamaat in 1994 and joined the Islamic political party, the Tehreek-e-Islami.
Maulana Siddiqui is well known for his biographical work on Prophet Mohammad (S.A.), “Muhsin e Insaniyat”. Furthermore, he is also author of many books dealing with issues related to Islam and the aspects of the Islamic movement. Many of his books have been translated into a variety of languages, such as "Ta'meere Siraat Ke Lawazem", which is widely popular among Islamic activists in Bangladesh.
