Pakistan has submitted a letter to UN Human Rights Council against the atrocities, inhumane lockdown and various restrictions on Muslims in India, especially in Kashmir. A letter was presented to UNHRC by Former Prosecutor General Punjab and Senior Advocate Syed Ihtesham Qadir Shah along with other renowned lawyers and Social Activists. The letter highlights the gross and inhumane actions of Modi’s Government towards Muslims living within India and particularly in Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, it also contains the reports of International media with other solid evidences to expose Indian brutality on Muslims.

Mr. Zeeshan, A Social and Human Rights activist said that the letter is supported by many local and international legal firms and organizations working for Human Rights. Other countries are also supporting Pakistani stance over Kashmir and we will continue to raise our voice on this issue until it is resolved.

Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) President Sardar Masood Khan has said that coupled with the occupational lockdown of August 5, the Covid-19 pandemic has imposed a twin lockdown on Kashmiris – “the first being more lethal than the latter”.
“Under the cover of Covid-19, Indian soldiers hunt down young boys and kill them in fake encounters. Posthumously, they are dubbed as militants supported by Pakistan. They do not release their bodies to families for fear of large funerals and instead bury them in unmarked graves,” he said.
President Masood made these remarks while speaking at a webinar, titled: “Kashmir in the age of detention: What changes for the Kashmiris pre- and post-pandemic”.
