Sources have insinuated that there is ample evidence to believe that Russia delivers Mi-35 assault helicopters to Pakistan
Recently, the Consul General of Russia here while answering to this scribe’s query, about a long-awaited delivery of helicopters, had indicated that the deal would soon be materialized.
It is pertinent to mention here that Pakistan and Russia had finalized the $153m deal for the supply of helicopters when former COAS Gen. Raheel Sharif visited Moscow in June 2016. The initial contract was inked at GHQ here in August 2015.
