KARACHI: Situation continues to remain tense in different parts of the metropolis following the targeted killings of 15 people in last 24 hours while business and trade centres remained shut in old areas of Karachi, Geo News reported Saturday.
According to police, a bullet-riddled body of man has been recovered from under the bridge of Teen Hatti.
Situation remained tense in old areas of Karachi due to the funeral of a political worker and former UC nazim who had been shot dead by unknown assailants on Friday.
Armed men riding motor cycles resorted to aerial fire and had shops and wholesale markets closed in Ranchorr Lane, Juna Market and areas surrounding Ghaas Mandi, Risala and Paan Mandi. This increased the tension in these areas.
