Salaam Dear Muslim Brothers n Sisters ,

I like this name alot " Ziva" ..i know its a Common Hebrew Name.. which means LIGHT OF GOD.

Some Websites Say Its Arabic ORigin name ..which means Bright /Radiant Light .. it has same meaning as " ZIA " .

but i m very confuse coz only 2-3 websites says its arabic origin. but mostly others say its hebrew.

i knw names like Sarah , Abrahim , Abiya are hebrew name v common in muslims also.

Dear Muslim Brothers n Sister kindly help me in taking this strong decision of keeping this name.

plz tell me if we can keep this name for our baby girl or no :(

need a quick reply to take a decison asap.. i m in too mch STRESSSSSSSSS these days.

yaar agar name main kisi bhe trh ka shak o shubha hay to mat rakho name because name ka aasar to beharhaal insan par bhe parta hay ... JO syed bilal qutub name suggest karty hain girls k liye mostly un main i luv aaish ... yah bhhht peyara name hay jo k ayesha say nekla hay .. HAZOOR E PAK (S.W.W) yah name say hazrat ayesha ko pukara kartay thay or bhe bhht say name islamic beautiful names ladydiana

Israel is surrounded by Arab World ... Hence this name might have made entry to Hebrew Language.

Anyways its a V common Hebrew name but i want SOme Scholers to confirm whtr the information in this website is Valid or not.

Arbi Lughat may ض kay saath ضوا mojood hai.

Is ko Roman may Ziwaa likhein gay. Ziwa ya Ziva bhi likhein tou pronunciation wohi rahay gi, per yeh zehen may rakhtay huway k yeh والضوا hai. Sirf ضوا bhi likh saktay hein.
